ESTEVE CDMO Business Account Manager

 

1. FUNCTIONAL CONTENT

 

Main Role

 

Manage current customers accounts to achieve organizational and business objectives of Business Account Management team and Commercial Operations and Strategy Department assuring Esteve’s best service to customers.

Collaborate with Business Development team to reach new business opportunities.

 

Functions

 

  • Ensuring the achievement of business goals for the assigned accounts.
  • Assist on the preparation of the Annual Sales Budget and 5-Year plans for the assigned accounts.
  • To provide Esteve’s best service to each account and maximize gross margins according to company goals.
  • To follow and maintain working procedures established for Business Account Management being active part of their creation, implementation with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring and enhancement of business relationships with assigned third party accounts.
  • Participation in Core Teams for the follow-up and coordination of projects, acting as representative of the Commercial Operations and Strategy Department.
  • Define prices in accordance to the basis established by the Head of BAM.
  • Deliver and defend proposals, negotiating service and supply agreements, etc., with customers and partners with the supervision of the Head of Business Account Management.
  • To negotiate, drive and manage sales to follow up of the Annual Sales Budget and 5-Year plans for the assigned accounts.
  • To visit customers to strengthen business relationships and managing commercial project issues as needed.
  • Regular follow-up of news in connection with our sector, especially those regarding Esteve Química’s commercial activities and assigned accounts.
  • Manage current customers accounts to achieve organizational and business objectives of Business Account Management team and Commercial Operations and Strategy Department assuring Esteve’s best service to customers.
  • Collaborate with Business Development team to reach new business opportunities.
  • To collaborate with Business Development Manager to reach new contract manufacturing opportunities and facilitate the transfer of the accounts once assigned to Business Account Manager.
  • To collaborate with Project Evaluation, Marketing, Project Management and Sales Logistics teams to achieve the goals of the Commercial Operations and Strategy (COS) department.
  • To assist to CDMO focused exhibitions such like CPhI, DCAT, etc.

3. JOB PROFILE

 

Required Studies

  • Degree, preferably in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector.

 

Relevant

  • Business Administration, sales or commercial knowledge or experience.
  • Communication, Sales techniques, Commercial Management, Customer Service and/or Project Management courses.

 

Other Specialized Knowledge

  • Experience in commercial field, preferably at the chemical-pharmaceutical field.
  • Experience in Commercial departments, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management within the chemical-pharmaceutical field.

 

Languages

  • English (according to MRCE): C2
  • Other languages skills are also valued

 

Professional Experience

  • Valued experience in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector
