1. MISSION

 

The main purpose of the Global Commercial Excellence role is to contribute on ESTEVE’s global commercial transformation, driving operational excellence, process standardization, and data-driven decision-making across all our international markets. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent, effective, and high-performing commercial operations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in sales excellence.

 

2. FUNCTIONAL CONTENT

 

1. Commercial Strategy & Performance

 

  • Define and track KPIs and metrics to evaluate commercial effectiveness across all international subsidiaries.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Lead regular performance reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support the design and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities to drive revenue and profitability.

 

2. Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement

 

  • Develop and implement unified commercial processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all markets (e.g., account planning via Veeva CRM, incentive schemes).
  • Document best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for commercial activities.
  • Train and support commercial teams in adopting standardized processes, ensuring compliance and improvement over time.

 

3. Cross-functional & International Leadership

 

  • Act as a key link between headquarters and subsidiaries, ensuring alignment of priorities and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial teams, senior management, and external partners.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to embed a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, coaching commercial managers to enhance capabilities and meet targets.

4. JOB PROFILE

 

a) Required Studies

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
  • MBA or a master's degree in pharmaceutical marketing (preferred).

 

b) Professional experience

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Commercial Excellence,Sales Force Effectiveness, Business Intelligence, Sales Management, Marketing, Strategic Consulting or other related functions within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.  
  • Proven track record of success in performance measurement and Commercial projects optimization.
  • Experience in managing international teams and working in a multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas relevant to the company's portfolio and understanding of the global pharmaceutical market landscape and the different Commercial models in the Filed: detailing & KAM-Hospital field forces.

 

 c) Other specialized knowledge

 

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as CRMs and BI Analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in performance measurement and in building KPIs in a dashboard visualization.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

 

d) Languages

  • English: C1 level required.
