1. FUNCTIONAL CONTENT
 
Main Role
 
As Global Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for setting the global vision, strategy, and execution of the current portfolio.
 
You will lead a team of marketers and work cross-functionally to ensure long-term brand growth, successful lifecycle management, and strong alignment with commercial, medical, and access strategies. Reporting to the VP Commercial, nyou will play a key role in driving ESTEVE’s ambition to lead in specialized care across key global markets.
 
 
Roles
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
 
 
Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Ownership
 
  • Define and lead the long-term global strategy for the Endocrinology franchise.
  • Drive portfolio planning, 5YP forecast, lifecycle and indication expansion strategies.
  • Identify growth levers across geographies and therapeutic segments.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with Medical, Market Access, and BD teams to unlock scientific and commercial opportunities, as well as with affiliates and external partners managed by GPA. 
 
 
Team Leadership & Talent Development
 
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team (G13 & G11), fostering ownership, accountability and
  • strategic thinking.
  • Promote collaboration, agility and knowledge-sharing across roles and geographies.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members, supporting their professional development as well as ownership of the Trainee program to develop talent in-house.
 
 
Global-Local Partnership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate marketing teams.
  • Guide local execution and adaptation of global strategies and materials.
  • Facilitate structured global-local ways of working, feedback loops, and performance tracking.
  • Lead Business Reviews for the portfolio to understand countries perforamance as well as needs.
 
 
Cross-functional & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Co-lead with Global Medical Affairs in shaping an integrated medical-marketing approach.
  • Align with Access, Regulatory, Digital, Supply, GPA and other enabling functions to ensure seamless execution.
  • Represent the brand at governance forums, key launches, and commercial milestone reviews.
 
 
External Engagement & Brand Visibility
  • Establish strong relationships with key international KOLs, scientific societies and advocacy partners.
  • Supervise global congress presence, strategic sponsorships and communication platforms in alignment with compliance.
  • Act as internal and external ambassador of the Endocrinology franchise.
 
Business Insight & Innovation
 
  • Lead integration of insights from BICE and affiliate input into brand strategies.
  • Promote innovation in omnichannel engagement, content, and HCP experience.
  • Ensure ongoing assessment of competitive landscape and market shifts.

3. JOB PROFILE
 
 
Qualifications and professional experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing or Business
  • 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing (local and global roles), ideally in specialty care or rare
  • diseases
  • Experience managing hospital-prescription products and leading product launches
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional and cross-regional teams

Languages
