1.FUNCTIONAL CONTENT
Main Role
To lead the total management of the Supply Management department overseeing the supply chain activities for all manufacturing sites and ensuring the smooth coordination of material flow from suppliers while maintaining close collaboration with Procurement department.
Roles
• Develop and execute supply plans to ensure consistent availability of key raw materials and intermediates to meet production needs across all the manufacturing sites.
• Manage day-to-day supply relationships with suppliers, creating purchase orders and tracking, resolving issues and handling customs documentation to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to agreed terms.
• Conduct regular reviews with suppliers, addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the procurement team to support sourcing decisions and ensure a seamless flow of materials into production, ensuring supply chain and sourcing activities are aligned and efficient across departments.
• Work closely with the manufacturing teams at each site to ensure alignment between supply availability and production schedules.
• Liaise with quality, R&D, and regulatory teams to ensure that all incoming materials comply with required specifications.
• Oversee the inventory levels of raw materials and intermediates, optimizing stock to balance cost efficiency and production demands.
• Implement supply chain strategies to mitigate risk and reduce lead times, while preventing stockouts and ensuring minimal excess inventory.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation activities for the delivery of raw materials from Asia-Pacific suppliers or from other geographies to the manufacturing sites, ensuring cost-effective and reliable transport solutions that meet production timelines, working with freight forwarders and logistics providers as necessary.
• Continuously seek opportunities for improving supply chain processes, driving efficiency, and enhancing collaboration with the procurement team and manufacturing sites.
• Leverage digital tools and supply chain systems to enhance visibility and control over material flow.

3.JOB PROFILE
Required Studies
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (i.e.: CSCP, CLTD) are preferred.
Other specialized knowledge
• Strong knowledge of raw material and intermediates logistics and supply management.
• Proficiency in supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, MRP) and logistics software.
Languages
• Fluency in Catalan and Spanish.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Professional experience
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or materials management, preferably within a contract manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated experience working with global supply chains, including suppliers in Asia-Pacific and multiple manufacturing site.
