1. FUNCTIONAL CONTENT

 

Main Role

 

To be responsible for the management of assigned projects throughout all phases (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure) in accordance with Project Management Office procedures.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Manage projects across all lifecycle phases following PMO standards.

  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise cross-functional project teams (Core Team).

  • Maintain a global project vision to coordinate activities across all involved areas and ensure adherence to planned timelines.

  • Collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure proper project development and effective issue resolution.

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of company procedures and the Project Management team.

  • Escalate issues internally when required, in line with company procedures.

  • Make urgent decisions in the absence of team members and Area Managers.

  • Lead and coordinate assigned projects with the corresponding core team, ensuring achievement of objectives within agreed resources and timelines.

  • Collaborate and align within Commercial Operations and Strategy to achieve departmental objectives.

  • Promote and ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment systems, quality standards, and GMP regulations, following appropriate training.

3. JOB PROFILE

 

Required Studies

  • PhD or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, preferably Organic Chemistry, or Industrial Engineer (Chemical specialization).

 

Other Specialized Knowledge

  • GMP training for APIs

  • Health, Safety & Environment training

  • Project management course

  • Leadership course

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

 

Languages

  • English (CEFR): C1

  • Catalan

  • Spanish

 

Professional Experience

  • Experience as a technician or project manager, preferably in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector.
