SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE MANAGER
FUNCTIONAL CONTENT
Main Role
Lead and enable Supply Chain digitalization, process excellence and end-to-end supply chain integration — from planning to order-to-cash, transport, delivery and distribution. Ensure smooth onboarding of new assets, sites or M&A acquisitions, and guarantee high standar supports the transformation of Supply Chain by driving process efficiency, digitalization, and data standardization.
This role ensures consistent deployment of global standards across markets, CMOs, and newly integrated business units (M&A), while strengthening SAP capabilities, improving cross-functional collaboration, and enabling end-to-end product.
Roles
- Provide Governance (Integration, Standards & Compliance)
- Govern M&A-driven integrations and new site, product, and asset onboarding, ensuring alignment of systems, processes, data, and compliance.
- Act as the single coordination point for digital supply chain initiatives involving Tech& Digital, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business.
- Define and enforce global standards for:
- Supply chain processes
- SAP configuration principles
- Master data ownership and quality
- Interfaces with CMOs, 3PLs, and external partners
- Ensure pharma regulatory compliance across digital and system-enabled supply chain processes
- Transform Work (End-to-End Process & SAP Enablement)
- Drive global process standardization and harmonization across:
- Demand & supply planning
- Order-to-cash
- Logistics, transport, and distribution
- Intercompany and external manufacturing (CMO)
- Support SAP Digital Supply Chain projects across the full lifecycle:
- Configuration support
- System integration
- Testing (UAT, integration testing)
- Roll-out and stabilization
- Ensure end-to-end process integrity and system flow across:
- Demand → Supply → Order → Delivery → Transport → Logistics
- Act as an advanced user / near-consultant-level expert in SC tools :
- SAP S/4HANA
- IBP (Integrated Business Planning)
- TM (Transportation Management)
- SD (Sales & Distribution)
- MM (Materials Management)
- Enable People (Change, Adoption & Capability Building)
- Support change management, training, and user adoption for new SAP solutions, integrations, and digital tools.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops:
- Requirements gathering
- As-Is / To-Be process mapping
- Gap analysis
- Adoption and rollout planning
- Build end-to-end supply chain understanding across teams, shifting from siloed execution to integrated execution.
- Provide Expertise (Data, Analytics & Decision Support)
- Use Power BI (user level) to monitor and support KPIs related to:
- OTIF and service level
- Inventory and stock coverage
- Transport cost and lead times
- Demand vs supply
- Order fulfilment performance
- Global SC Dashboards
- Support data governance and master data quality across:
- SAP modules
- External systems (3PLs, CMOs, CRM, transport providers)
- Ensure data consistency and integration to enable reliable reporting and planning.
- Disrupt Supply Chain (Digitalization & Automation)
- Lead digital supply chain initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform:
- Power Apps for operational tools
- Power Automate for workflow automation and approvals
- Automate and improve:
- Transport and 3PL coordination
- Inventory and delivery visibility
- Operational workflows and manual tasks
- Identify, pilot, and scale digital and automation use cases with clear business value and scalability.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Project management certification (PM², PMP, Agile/Scrum)

Key Competencies & Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Digital Supply Chain, or Supply Chain Excellence roles within complex, regulated environments (preferably Pharma or Life Sciences).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing system integration, transformation, or M&A-related projects, including:
- New site, product, or asset onboarding
- SAP implementations, rollouts, or migrations (ECC → S/4HANA)
- Integration of external partners (CMOs, 3PLs, logistics providers)
- Proven experience working in cross-functional and international environments, coordinating Technology, Quality, Supply Chain, and Business stakeholders.
- Solid experience leading projects using structured methodologies (PMP, PM2, Agile/Scrum).
