1. FUNCTIONAL CONTENT

Main Role

Achieve business results and the best commercial positioning of Esteve in the territory under his responsibility, through the implementation of tactical actions aimed at his direct interlocutors, decision-makers and key influencers in his field of action. Alignment with the defined commercial strategy and adapting to the needs of the environment, carrying out necessary actions to deliver our products to the greatest number of patients possible and improve their quality of life.

 

Roles

  • Identify and understand customer needs, clinical priorities, and decision drivers, delivering tailored, value-based interactions that support patient outcomes and strengthen long-term, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong, sustainable partnerships with customers through consistent, credible, and compliant engagement, positioning the company as a trusted scientific and strategic partner.
  • Leverage data and insights (sales performance, KPIs, territory analysis) to define clear priorities, develop action plans, and optimize resource allocation in order to achieve and exceed business objectives.
  • Continuously monitor results and market dynamics, proactively adjusting plans and implementing corrective actions to maximize impact and performance in the territory.
  • Communicate clearly, persuasively, and adaptively, tailoring messages to different customer profiles and using active listening and objection-handling techniques to drive engagement and commitment.
  • Generate, capture, and share actionable customer and market insights, contributing to the continuous improvement of territory and national strategies.
  • Demonstrate strong scientific expertise, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, therapeutic areas, and clinical evidence, and translating complex data into clear, relevant, and practical messages for healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure all interactions are ethical, compliant, and evidence-based, reinforcing credibility and supporting responsible decision-making and prescribing practices.
  • Effectively utilize CRM, digital tools, and multichannel engagement approaches to enhance customer interactions, track performance, and improve execution excellence.

3. JOB PROFILE

Required Studies

  • Education: Bachelor's / Degree
  • Specialized training Health Sciences (desirable)
  • Office advanced level

Other specialized knowledge

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Proven successful experience in product launches.
  • Results-oriented and strong negotiation skills.
  • Organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge enhancement.
  • Interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal) for relationship-building.
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Flexibility and creative adaptability to change.

Languages

  • Portuguese Native
  • Intermediate English
  • Spanish or other languages will be a plus

Professional experience

  • Over 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the therapeutic area of ophthalmology, others will be valuable.
  • Proven experience in sales consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market and expertise in implementing sales strategies and tracking performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and product launches.
